Jormungard

Jormungard
   In Nordic myth the Midgard serpent spawned by Loki and the sister of Fenrir. There are several stories of the combats between the serpent and Thor, a wrestling match is mentioned under Skrymir, and Thor’s fishing for the serpent in the sea in Hymiskvida Edda. Finally Ragnarok tells how it was slain by Thor.
